101 in 1001

So I'm copying off of Ann, my co-worker, and taking the 101 things to do in 1001 days challenge.

Here is my list of things. I'll keep adding, but here what I have so far.

1. learn to drink coffee without creamer
2. eat sushi
3. paint my living room (2/4)
4. learn to speak conversational Spanish
5. wear nice shoes to work for a month (not tennis shoes)
6. go old school camping in a tent with Dirk (5/25)
7. sew a large pillow for Sophie
8. visit Kentucky
9. pay off all my debt (4/22)
10. bake bread (6/7, 15, 16)
11. pay cash for the car of my choice (6/30)
12. finish repairing my kitchen chairs (11/20)
13. build a bookshelf by myself
14. create a business for myself
15. take an accounting class
16. avoid meat for a month
17. babysit an infant (5/17)
18. go fish with Dirk and touch the fish
19. call my grandma on a regular basis
20. go one weekend with NO TV
21. fill my giant coke bottle with pennies
22. take my dog for a walk every day for a week
23. go to IKEA
24. take one photo a day, every day for a month
25. give a homeless person some cash
26. knit/sew a collection of baby items for my future kid
27. knit a scarf for myself (5/10)
28. make apple butter
29. buy a dress and wear it
30. find a physical exercise I enjoy
31. see the Cubs in Chicago
32. dress up every work day for one week
33. dye my hair
34. keep a journal/sketch book again
35. go to the osu/okc farmers market (5/3)
36. eat kale (1/31) I didn't like the texture.
37. use crayons (1/15)
38. send my mom flowers (5/9)
39. eat Thai food with Dirk
40. learn to play the fiddle
41. clean out my closet
42. finish painting my bedroom windows
43. go on a picnic
44. invest in a mutual fund
45. figure out what mutual funds are and how to invest in them
46. donate to a missionary
47. recycle all tin and plastic in my house
48. visit the local OKC attractions
49. have my wisdom teeth taken out. UGH. (6/19)
50. make gingerbread men
51. re-read the Chronicles of Narnia
52. read the Golden Compass (1/29)
53. cook Dirk breakfast at 4 am
54. anonymously give cash to someone who needs it
55. improve my posture
56. write a Christmas letter
57. send birthday cards to family
58. leave a 100% tip
59. buy a nice pair of sunglasses
60. read the entire bible
61. run around the block with Sophie
62. drink more milk
63. clean my house for 1 hour every Saturday

**UPDATE**

64. go to chapel at least once a week
65. take all of my unwanted items to good will
66. get up early and read before work
67. sleep on only one pillow consistently (1/23)
68. remember to take vitamins daily
69. fill all the nail holes in my walls (2/3)
70. have a baby
71. take my sack of clothes to the dry cleaners (6/10)
72. stop at the antique stores on the way to my sister's house
73. make heirloom toys for my nieces (12/24)
74. make a flowerbed in the back yard
75. clean up the old flowerbed
76. start an independent IRA
77. invite a family I don't know well over for dinner
78. host an office bbq at my house
79. take at least 10,000 steps a day every day for 2 weeks
80. get a massage 12/17
81. buy a new TV (7/31)
82. learn embroidery and make my own patterns
83. knit items for wishing well
84. paint on canvas again

I have been working on #21 for most of 10 years, and I only have it about half full. I know it is close to $100, maybe a bit more right now.

These are all awesome goals! Many of them are more ambitious than my puny goals for the new year...

And I know a few people at church that would be more than willing to help you with #17!

So ambitious!! I've just finished painting my whole house (inside-2400 sq. ft.) and feel such a sense of accomplishment (Don't ask how long it took!). I painted it myself to save money for a vacation. A question: Why only 1 pillow? Jim
