Quote

I was looking at yarn colors for some more animals for Noah's Ark.

Me: Is this the right pink for a pig?
Dirk:
Me: Is it too dark?
Dirk: You can do a hamp pig that's white with a black stripe around the middle.
Me:
Dirk: Or you could do durock pig that's all red. Or you could do a blue butt.
Me: This is Noah's Ark. It's going to be a cute pink pig.

Too much agriculture rots the brain.

However, you can't beat a good blue butted pig, but, then again, I'm pretty sure the "cute pink" pig was the original on Noah's ark. All other pig variations are genetic mutants of the cute originals... BTW, my word verification for this is "bialis"... eerily similar to the chemical pill for "when the moment is right, will you be ready?"

Mardee,

After we had that conversation I remembered that my nieces are in the depths of southern missouri, therefore they might actually know what a hamp pig is. So I'm making them a set just for kicks.

Oh yes and we also had the discussion about making Noah... is he white? or is he brown? ha ha

I would say that Noah is white-headed, because he was OLD. Skin... tanned. He was building a boat, and a mighty big one. Tanned. Or sunburned. That could be good: Red Dirt skin.

Anyway, I like the idea of white pigs with black stripes. Not exactly Wilbur, but recognizable.
